The Challenge

To create a brand for Envelopes Only, rich in history dating back to 1983, we needed to carefully balance honoring their legacy while effectively communicating their continued dedication to innovation, ensuring relevance in today's dynamic and highly competitive marketplace.

To develop an award-winning brand that showcases their quality by utilizing a 4-color printing process with gradients. In addition, we aimed to create an identity with a significant presence of negative space, adding both intrigue and interest to the overall design.

Less is More

Our goal was to create a brand that showcases their 4-color printing capabilities and creates interest and impact by utilizing negative space within the envelope shape, negating the "E" to further captivate the audience.

Negative Space

The geometry of an envelope tilted at a approximatley 27 degrees allows for a sheared “E” to rest in it’s negative space.


Color Overlay

The colors for the logo were chosen based off the actual colors that are recieved when overlaying the two envelope shapes.

Final Details

Adding gradients as well as highlights tothe logo really made the simple shapes stand out and made for a fresh and modern identity.

Web Experience

We took the branding and let it run wild on a completely rebranded website. The previous website was a single page with contact info only. We took it to a whole new level and made it a resource for clients and literally anyone looking for envelope demensions and types.
